Youth Day Camps

2018 Camp Dates Now Available.

These day camps are designed for sailors aged 8 to 15.

Camps run from 8:30am-4:00pm Monday to Friday.

We are offering 4 separate weeks of instruction.  All levels of sailing will be taught each week at the same time.  The students will be split into smaller groups based on ability.  To book your child(ren) please register for one of the event weeks below.

We offer a range of levels for beginners to more experienced sailors.

CanSail 1

This program is designed as a gentle introduction to sailing for children aged 8 and up. The program is a combination of sailing and land-based activities. Learning in a safe and fun environment is our main consideration. Participants use the Optimist dinghy, a very small and stable, single sailboat.

CanSail Levels 2 & 3

For beginner sailors 9 and up. This program begins with fundamental skills acquisition.

CanSail Levels 4 & 5

This program continues from CanSail 1,2 and focuses on the consolidation of applied skills.

Parents, please send your child to the camp each day with the following: lunch, snack, water, Cdn. D.O.T. approved PFD (with whistle attached), hat, sunglasses with tie band, sun screen, towel, swimsuit & extra clothing.

A registration form will be emailed to you once you register.
