A great way to enjoy the water, Co-Op membership allows you to use the club's extensive collection of watercraft. You can even learn to sail or paddle by coming out Thursday Co-Op nights.
We have numerous sailboats including Lasers, Sunfish, Wayfarers, Snipes, and CLs. Various boats are suitable for individual racing and family boating.
We also have a number of kayaks, kids' kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes available for paddling, including a new, three-seat canoe made right here in Guelph.
Co-Op membership is $75 per year and can be added to any membership. Co-Op members receive a lock code to the Co-Op boats and Co-Op equipment shed.
Memberships include the right to store one boat at the club, and to access the club grounds during open hours between April and October. Members are also welcome to join regular race nights, events, and club social activities.
Additional boat storage, winter storage and Co-Op access to the club boats are optional and can be added during sign-up.
General Membership is per family.
Please remember that access and use of the club is at your own risk, and we are obliged to comply with all provincial regulations.
Physical distancing measures are still in place. Please observe the following while at the club:
Maintain a distance of 2 metres from anyone not a member of your household;
Park at least 2 metres away from other vehicles;
Bring sanitizer, wipes, masks, and gloves as needed;
Sanitize the gate lock and any communal items touched both before and after use;
Pack out any garbage; and,
Please sanitize hands and wipe all contact surfaces both before and after using the port-a-potties.
As at this time, we are unable to use the club house or the co-op shed. Benches and picnic tables may be used, so long as the 2 metre distance limit is respected with non-members of your household. Please adhere to the current gathering limit.
The above restrictions are by no means a complete list, merely the highlights. Please refer to the Government of Ontario website for a complete list. At all times there is an expectation that common sense will be used, and respect for each other's health and safety will be given.
Please assume that the person before you has not sanitized the gate lock nor any other surface at the club.
Though it may be from a distance, we look forward to seeing you out on the water this year.
