This program is designed as a gentle introduction to sailing for children ages 8 and up. The program is a combination of sailing and land-based activities. Learning that is provided in a safe and fun environment is our main consideration. Participants use the Optimist dinghy, a very small and stable, single sailboat.

Parents, please send your child to the camp each day with the following: lunch, snack, water, Cdn. D.O.T. approved PFD (with whistle attached), hat, sunglasses with tie band, sun screen, towel, swimsuit & extra clothing.
A registration form will be emailed to you once you register or you can download it here. For more information please contact the Learn to Sail Coordinator.

You can also post a request for instruction in our Crew Bank.
We will not be arranging adult courses at set times through out the summer. It is up to individuals to arrange lessons with the instructor directly.
All youth participants are encouraged to attend our Junior Regatta. This will be a two day sailing regatta followed by games and a potluck family barbecue social. This is a free event!
