Job Description

Responsibilities of the GCBC Administrative Services Coordinator will include: 

 

  • ·         Assisting GCBC's Board of Directors and Executive Committee in achieving the Club’s goals and objectives;
  • ·         Ensuring the overall efficiency of daily Club operations by monitoring day-to-day workflow and making any necessary recommendations and/or adjustments to work methods and systems;
  • ·         Acting as a liaison and first point of contact with individual members, customers/clients, athlete-competitors as well as other partner organizations and stakeholders;
  • ·         Providing administrative and communications support to programs and internal functional teams;
  • ·         Helping to coordinate, plan, implement, and optimize marketing, branding, advertising, and other promotional activities which will improve the Club’s image while increasing member and stakeholder satisfaction;
  • ·         Draft and edit communications copy (e.g. press releases, publications, social media posts); 
  • ·         Develop, design and maintain web content and assist in executing social media strategies;
  • ·         Update databases and media lists;
  • ·         Track projects and media exposure;
  • ·         Facilitate effective internal communications; 
  • ·         Maintain calendars and appointments;
  • ·         Prepare presentations and reports as necessary.


The duration of the position for Summer 2021 will depend on public health guidelines and the number of L2S sessions that the club is permitted to deliver. However we are planning for it to extend from mid-June to the end of August.
